"Great hotel. Quiet hotel outside the main parts but is an advantage. Near to town and beach through park. Didn't have breakfast but room was spotless and clean. Don't pay for parking as there's nearby side roads that you can park if you travel by car. There's a Carefore mini supermarket across the road if you want to get any drinks or snacks etc. There's no restaraunts near the hotel but you would normally go into the main town anyway to eat. La Rochelle is a beautiful fantastic place to go to...
"Wonderful stay at the hotel, visiting La Rochelle on return from Il de Re.
Situated in a quiet street but only 10 minutes walk from the harbour and 20 from the station it is ideally situated.
Staff were incredibly helpful throughout our short stay: receptionist was very welcoming and provided helpful suggestions of areas to visit. We had gluten free options for breakfast, the waiter was most helpful and went out of his way for us.
The room was lovely, a nice large and very comfortable bed,...
"Super location. Restaurant staff are delightful and very helpful. We were staying with our dog & he was allowed to join both outside then inside (it became too chilly to sit outside for dinner). Choice is good, reasonable price for a hotel and good quality. Breakfast was very good, it’s popular even out of season so would imagine it’s a bit of a crush if really busy.
Rooms are basic but nice, would be handy to have bedside tables both sides and USB points. Very clean. The outside terrace was...
"Overall the hotel was clean and tidy and our room was spacious and pleasantly decorated. Our big disappointment was the meal in the restaurant which took the shine off our stay. For the evening meal my wife chose rabbit as her main course and it was very chewy as it had not been cooked slowly in a sauce. I chose trout with a mixture of vegetables. Sadly the trout was totally tasteless."
"Lovely hotel very close to the beach with wonderful staff, particularly Sylvie who was lovely with our children and very helpful. Having your own parking space is top value in a village which is almost impossible to park in. Pools were perfect temperature and the aircon in the bedrooms was blissful as we stayed during a heat wave."
"I've stayed at this hotel on and off over the past 20 years. This was the first time I visited with my wife and teenage daughter. To provide privacy for our daughter we booked a 2 bedroom apartment. We were staying during the "heat dome" and whereas previously the property had no air conditioning, they did now and it was a life saver. The hotel is not in the middle of where most tourists are staying so nice and quiet and it's relatively easy to get to the city core. There's a small grocery...
"This is exactly what a hotel should be. Lovely and helpful staff. Comfortable and serene environment. Location near town but just a few steps far enough away to be quiet. Best hotel on the island I would venture to say. What a treat to stay there. Thank you."
