"We hired 2 chalets' no's 528 & 529. 528 was in good shape but 589 was not. The master bedroom carpets were dirty and the chalet needed painting. We paid for half board but found the food generally very poor. Breakfast was OK with eggs cooked while you waited, the sausages and bacon were good but there was little fresh fruit. "Very nice and clean house in Kruger Parke Lodge with enough space for 5, even 6 persons. 3 bathrooms. Washing mashine and dryer worked well, at least during non-load-sheeding times. The beds were a bit inconvenient for us. Probably because of its thatched roof, the house smelled a little like a horse stable.
