"It was very good! The Hotel is very nicely decorated and comfortable. Free parking is a great plus. The Deluxe Room was nothing special, the food was very underwhelming, the staff was ok but not welcoming and they couldn't accomodate to have the room set up with the "lovers (?)" package while we went for dinner. It was either at check-in or nothing. Which doesn't make sense. I was overcharged for bycicles, but after returning to point it out, it was quickly solved and i was refunded. Overall...

"We loved the resort. We had great massages, loved the indoor swimming pool, salt room, steambath, and outdoor sauna. The breakfast buffet was delicious and plentiful. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our only concern was the electricity outage we experienced several times in room 208. They moved us to room 142 and we again experienced an electricity outage one time."

"The location of this Hotel is good for enjoying lake Balaton. There is a very expensive and a free beachfront that is in walk-in distance. The breakfast and the dinner is served in the hotel’s restaurant and both the food and the service is good. We had a second floor room without elevator. We had heavy luggages which we had to carry to the second floor without any help from the hotel. The room had a nice view. The room was clean but the make up of the beds were sloppy and we did not have enough...

"Cosy clean room. We had room facing sreet, We was there in May so not busy. Central, near start of vinyards. Good breakfast selection & dinner was good too .! Not a big selection but what they did have was tasty, we enjoyed it more than other hotels we have stayed at."

"This is a fine, simple hotel in town. It is close to a couple grocery stores but you do need to walk some to the beach. The room was fine, nothing fancy but had the basics and was clean. The worst part of the stay was the food as many of the previous reviewers have stated. The breakfast was edible but nowhere near great, the coffee was awful and the dinner, well, we ended up finding other alternatives because of the limited choices. "The Wellmarin Hotel is a lovely hotel, with great access to Lake Balaton. We have no complaints other than that there is very little English spoke at the front desk, and we did not feel very welcome, in comparison to the rest of the hotels we stayed at in Europe. There was a gentleman who worked the evening shift who did go above and beyond for us. We were thankful for him."
