"Limited supply of toilet paper.
Towels did not look clean. (Heavily stained).
Room was fitted with a black out blind and nothing else. No net curtains.
Room was poorly lit.

"Travelled solo on business, breakfast staff were a little inconsiderate putting me on a large table on my own. Lady serving in the bar and evening restaurant was very friendly and helpful"

Two consecutive mornings of cold showers, third morning had to run for a period of time for it to be warm .
Woken @ 04.00hrs by neighbouring room . Sounding like they were falling into furniture, ? Breaking .
04.30 knocking on my door wakening my 13yr grandson who was swimming at national level that day . Told them wrong room . Was assured security was on duty .

"Room was large, en suite, very clean, shower hot and with a strong flow. Bed very comfortable. TV a good size. Tea/Coffee facilities in room, along with a hair dryer, spare blanket (if needed) and clean towels. Room was airy, even on the hot day. Since it was a hot spell, the thick curtains were drawn in our room to keep the room cool, which was a nice welcomed touch. "Check in was easy and friendly, a lovely collie welcomed me into the yard as well! The Tack room was clean and comfortable and good for my brief stay.
I hadn't appreciated how noisy the motorway would be and so had to close the windows in the bedroom to be able to get to sleep.
Apart from that it would be a nice place to stay to explore the area. I was up very early in the morning, and it was perfect for my requirements."
"I stayed in the Hayloft. My hosts could not have been more charming. The Hayloft was beautifully furnished and much care had gone into it. The one thing that I think let it down was the quality of the beds - 4 singles - the mattress lacked support and you could actually feel the springs in it. I think a mattress upgrade would match the high quality bedding that is provided. The only other thing was that the fridge was switched off and open when I arrived.
