Initially the astetics of arriving at the pub/hotel looked promising and the ambiance of the bar area pleasent with polite reception staff.The room (4) was at first site ok, but a more detailed look revealed a more dirty aspect and not as expected. "We arrived early and decided to try the dining facilities. We were pleasantly surprised at the options and pricing. When the courses arrived the standard was excellent. The room was spacious, clean and well appointed with ensuite facilities, coffee machine with small fridge and milk as well as bottled water. The bed was very comfy. Breakfast had many options.
