"I recently returned from a 2 night stay. The hotel is old grandeur but hasn’t been maintained for years. We arrived and the bathroom hadnt been cleaned and there were wet used towels still there. We had to ask for tea/coffee facilities - the plugs weren’t working and if we needed to speak to reception we had go there as the phone wasn’t working. "We weren’t sure about the location as we arrived as it was close to the motorway, but we didn ’t hear any traffic. It’s a lovely building and well maintained and the lady on reception and serving dinner was just so friendly and welcoming. She served us cheese, bread and meats and we loved it. Room was great, good air-con. Would stay again."
