"Hotel is in a quiet lakeside spot. It is spotlessly clean and very well furnished. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. There are a couple of restaurants by the lakeside if you want to eat out and the ferry dock is a couple of minutes walk away, if you want a boat trip on the lake. We will definitely stay here again. "

"This is a lovely traditional Italian hotel. The staff is great, incredibly helpful and nice. The pool and landscaping are beautiful. Excellent breakfast! Only minor complaint: The showers could be improved - we had 2 different rooms and neither had a shower that functioned really well. We plan to return to Villa Sofia. "

"The hotel is a lovely location within short walk from downtown and to the beautiful walkway along the lake. The room and bathroom were modern and spotless. Breakfast was adequate. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Alex who helped to resolve a booking issue in a kind and efficient manner. The garden and pool are superbly well maintained. A very satisfying experience."
