"Hotel L’Escalet is a must stay. Ideally located minutes from the beach and only 15 minutes drive from St Tropez a great base foe exploring the area. The facilities are great and the pool was wonderful. However the real difference were the staff, so helpful and accomodating. We normally don’t travel this far south on our visits to France but be assured we will be back."
"The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. We upgraded to the canal view and paid for a private parking spot immediately in front of the hotel which I strongly suggest if you have a car. Mornings were spent enjoying coffee on the balcony and watching the boats go by. The hotel also uses l'occitane products which we loved as we are avid users. Port Grimaud is a lovely and safe gated community and I highly suggest visiting!"
"Excellent facility and perfect location just 5 minutes from the shops and restaurants of Sainte Maxime. The ferry to St. Tropez runs every 10 minutes, so very convenient. We would highly recommend. Great town for a beach break too."

"The room was clean but needs renovation. Wardrobe handles and lamps are broken.
Great to have a swimming pool but some of its rules are incomprehensible e.g., why men can only use speedo and not shorts? If it is for hygiene why swimming caps are not compulsory? Also, I would expect the hotel to provide beach umbrella for the shade, while apparently you have to bring your own for the pool. But who does that?"
"The main big disappointment and what was not clearly indicated during the booking is that the resort does not have its own beach area - you have to go to a public beach or pay for a private beach - we had to pay for towels and beach beds each day (€.5 per towel per person per day and €30 per person per day for the beach beds).
The room was clean, parking available on the premises, which was great. The beach view was ok not a full sea view - it was through the side of the building . The room...
"Gorgeous property with phenomenal views! It was the kind of place where we wanted to stop and take pictures every time we walked around the property. The setting was absolutely beautiful.
The staff were very warm, welcoming, and accommodating throughout our stay. They were always helpful and made us feel very comfortable. We had no complaints whatsoever.
We would highly recommend this property to anyone considering a stay in Saint-Tropez!"
"Overall, the staff were very kind, but unfortunately our experience was disappointing.
The biggest issue was security: housekeeping left our room door completely open while we were away for the entire day. We returned around 7 PM and found it still open, with our computers and all of our personal belongings inside. This has never happened to us in any hotel before, and we found it extremely concerning.
We reported it to reception and were told someone would come to check, but no one ever did....
