"In general the hotel is very run down. Things falling apart and dysfunctional, including pool area and umbrellas and gardens. The resort is in desperate need of serious maintenance. Also, no wi fi in rooms for a 4 star hotel is not really acceptable. "Fabulously friendly and helpful hosts. The room was comfortable and clean and the bed was very comfy too. A lovely balcony to sit at in the evening afforded us a great view out to the sea. Breakfast was well executed and staff were all friendly. The property is well located - just a short drive into town. I would definitely stay here again if I wax to return to Knysna. "
