"Rather expensive but nice hotel with excellent staff. I didn’t try the breakfast so cannot comment on it. The hotel is a bit out of the way with about a 20 minute walk to the train station and a 15 minute walk to the main square but it’s in a safe area. "

"The Hotel is clean comfortable and the staff helpful. The Bar us only open for 4 hours in the evening. There is no restaurant and Bar food choice was very uninspiring. The Hotel is located in the outskirts of town with very limited choice of restaurants in the vicinity. The pool looked as if had been empty for a long while. It really seems to be targeting the commercial market not leisure travellers. "

"Stayed here for a week, and had an excellent time. The room was just as advertised, clean, spacious and comfortable. All staff members were fantastic; very polite and kind. Lots of wardrobe space. The area was great; very convenient and walkable to all the parts we wanted to go and close to the University. Wouldn't hesitate to book here again. Thank you!"

"Shower design -- itxwas impossible to shower without getting water all over the floor Room very hot. Had to open the window and then flies got in Staff exceptional. Onsite restaurant good."

Restaurant service was amazing but the food was not great hubby had a nice piece of veal shin but the suckling pig was slimy, full of fat and the skin was chewy. I sent the skin back and asked for it to be crisped up which came back very dark and charcoaled. It was better but not the best. It was almost like it had been boiled and then put in the oven briefly. Potatoes were barely cooked and only veg was green bell peppers which o don’t...

"Excellent hotel in Ourense. Buffet breakfast was great and inexpensive (although the staff in the breakfast area did not speak English, but that's our problem, not theirs). Bed was plenty large and room was spacious"

"It is not a 4 star property, barely 2 star maybe. Old room, carpet smelled bad, mold in the shower, sparse amenities. Breakfast bufet was a joke. Front desk personnel was rude, except for the Venezuelan girl."

"this was a repeat visit after a 10 year gap. Little seems to have changed in that time. Although mainly a golf hotel, its a bit disappointing that the hotel doesn't try to cater for non golfers. For example there is plenty of room for tennis courts and a children's play area. Restaurant/bar staff always seemed too busy to provide the level of service you would expect for a 4* hotel"

"Rude staff didn't give directions or instructions to the so called spa balneareo which is nothing more than a kiddie pool. Guests can't use the gym. The wait staff looked as if they were suicidal. The room was clean and nice but the atmosphere was horrible. "
