"The Quintocanto hotel was perfectly located for us. It lived up to its great reviews from other travellers. The front desk staff were helpful. We also ate at the associated restaurant Gusto next door and very much enjoyed it."

"Beautiful hotel with a great location to historical Palermo. Easy to walk to all sites. Our room had a nice view of the promenade along the sea. Dining menu is somewhat limited but delicious. Terrific staff. Highly recommend."

"This is a wonderful hotel with impeccable service. The staff was incredibly helpful with our car reservation logistics and provided great parking information. They even accommodated our early checkout schedule by preparing a breakfast box for us to go. The location, amenities, and breakfast were all excellent. We truly loved our stay."

"The listing on Expedia suggests there is laundry service and room service, neither of which are available - FYI. Room was modern and clean. Close to all the attractions."

Very big room and right in the middle of historic Palermo with all the shops and dinning. Also, great made to order Breakfast each day from a very helpful staff.

What a lovely space. We arrived around 11 at night by taxi and were having difficulty getting in. I phoned the owner and he answered the phone and assisted us immediately. We had the best sleep of our travels thus far. The room was huge and the bed was very comfortable. Perfect bathroom and coffee facilities. Close to the central part of town. Highly walkable.

Everything about Ambrosia was wonderful. The staff were amazing, the room was beautiful, the breakfast perfect for my daughter and me (continental style) and the location could not be better, directly down a small lane from the large Cathedral. My highest recommendation.

Our room has a fun music theme. It was very comfortable. Breakfast, which was included, was delicious and our host Luca was very attentive. There is a lovely terrace where you can have breakfast if the weather is good. The location was perfect for exploring Palermo on foot. Luca gave us excellent recommendations for dinner. The rooms are a few stories up so I wouldn’t recommend it for someone who has accessibility problems. For us, it was a perfect location.

Il Giardino di Ballarò is a small boutique hotel located right in the center of the old, historic part of Palermo not more than a 10 min walk from most of the sights. It is a very cozy and modern accommodation, and has a lot of character. We felt very welcomed as soon as we walked in - the staff is very welcoming and friendly, offered us refreshments and then provided us with a lot of useful sightseeing and dinning tips. Nice breakfast that you can have inside or in the outdoor private garden....

If you are American, you probably have an impression of Best Western as a pretty mediocre hotel chain. This is NO Best Western! The Hotel Principe de Lampedusa is just marvelous.
We had a classic triple room, which was very spacious, had very high ceilings, travertine marble floors, a nice sized bathroom and our own small, private patio. AC and shower work great. Mini fridge too (although not too cold). It was very quiet.
The room and rest of the hotel are immaculate. It looks brand new. ...

Excellent boutique hotel located with easy walking access and proximity to Old City sites. Charming room with high ceilings and large private balcony adjacent to reception/bar/breakfast room/lounge on the top floor. Effervescent staff who are eager to suggest best ways to spend time in Palermo and make dining reservations on behalf of the guests. Reception hours are limited to two shifts organized around breakfast (served 8:30-10:00) and afternoon/evening (4:30-8:30).

This is a lovely hotel in Palermo. But sadly, we were very underwhelmed with the gritty city of Palermo. Staying at the lovely hotel saved us. Staff was wonderful and we enjoy a dinner at their little restaurant.

It’s a beautiful hotel on one of the main streets of Palermo with easy and quick access to the historic city. (If you are a light sleeper or not used to city noises, this may be a little too loud for you. It did not bother us - we enjoyed the vibrancy.) They had a beautiful and delicious breakfast with lots of variety of hot and cold food. Our suite was very spacious, beautiful and nicely designed. All in all, it was lovely.

Great location!
Check-in required a credit card with pin for 100 euro deposit. I used my debit card. The manager speaks poor English. I only saw him once in three days, but it really did not bother me. The room is not very sound proofing. I could hear noises in the lobby and room above. Don’t plan to sleep in because you hear cleaning lady working at 9 AM in other rooms. Overall just don’t expect hotel experience because it is not a hotel. The location is unbeatable. It served my travel purpose...

I have no comparison experience with other hotels in Palermo, but this is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Built from several previous structures, one a bank and another a cloister, the hotel features majestic spaces, huge public rooms, wide halls, high ceilings. It is like a palazzo located in almost the exact middle of Palermo's historic district, so one can easily walk to the Plazzo Chiatamonte-Steri or Palazzo Abatellis in one direction or the Palazzo dei Normani or the...

The people are very nice. The location is central to everything. There is a steep staircase into the hotel - but the hotel employees make sure to take your bags up and down the stairs. I recommend this hotel.
