A quick walk took us to the Paestum Archeological Site, and when we returned we enjoyed some gelato, sorbets and wine served in their garden. Dining at the restaurant attached to the hotel (Casa Coloni) was fantastic. We got their fish menu, and it was one of the best meals we’ve had to date on our excursions across Italy. "This is not 4 star hotel as advertised. We book triple room expectimg 3 normal beds but god one double bed and one uncomfortable small bed. Noice from heating was so extensive we were forced to switch it off. Also trafic from nearby road was very loud, room not sound proof."

"We only stayed one night and checked in the afternoon but it did not look like the photo. Lift was tiny and very old. Breakfast was fine. I would suggest eating out for lunch and dinner as it was €25 for dinner and we discovered it to be much cheaper out. The local supermarket makes sandwiches that were divine and cheap."
