"Room was missing details for a 4 star hotel. Did not have a coffee maker or kettle in the room. Had to ask reception to provide us with two normal glasses and a coffee cups. Smell of damp in the bathroom but other then that room was clean. Breakfast not enough staff to cater for restaurant size. Items take too long to be replace when finished . Indoor pool needs to be warmer as was cold ."

"This hotel is actually well situated, The San Giorgio church is located just the corner of the hotel, it is walking distance to the center, parking is available when you enter the hotel, however it is only a cul-de-sac! Although search Google map navigation that it a through road to take consequently the mistake took us great pain to back up our car and make the U turn! "

"What a special place this is. A step back in time, with modern conveniences! Villa Guilia is absolutely gorgeous! I am so sorry we only stayed here one night. The bed was VERY comfortable and there were extra pillows. Great shower...and a MODERN hairdryer (hard to find in Sicilian hotels). We ate at the restaurant and it was one of the best meals we had on our 2-week trip. The owner could not be nicer! We will definitely return and stay longer."

"We liked the hotel and choose it for it's size of the rooms which are hard t find in the area. Proximity from here to Modica/Ragusa was also great and why we picked it. Breakfast was nice since there arent many options very close but there was a charge. Staff was very friendly and helpful but some didnt speak English very well so patience is key or better to know some Italian! "Stayed for 3 nites Air Conditioner was broke and not working the first night but they brought us a fan which helped and they fixed it the next morning. Breakfast was great the first morning and went downhill from there- $8.00 per person. Probably not worth it but the coffee was good. No cafe near by. Shower great. Staff helpful. Old building in not a very pretty area but safe enough. Elevator helpful for luggage. Great restaurants on the beach. "
