"This was the best hotel during our journey through Germany and Austria. Checks all the boxes for excellence. The room is large and very convenient with all the amenities. Views of the Rhein Gorge from the large windows are really spectacular. Their breakfast also has plenty to choose from. Their staff at the front desk and the dining area are nice and very helpful with smiles. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend."

"Excellent hotel, with a beautiful Spa/Welness facility. We had a room on the south side of the building, apparently without airco. That was not that convenient, however both windows could be opened full! We had 2 nights with dinner in buffet style, that is certainly not something we will take again, the first evening the service was ok, but the second evening, the plates of the first dish where still on the table and it was difficult to order a drink. "We had a lovely 2 night stay at this property in the Standard Room, Bathtub (this little cottage-like room was beautiful and quaint and the bathtub was very, very nice). We had breakfast both days in the hotel and it was lovely with great options for food, great service, and beautiful scenery. On arrival, we were checked into our room quickly and they offered to bring our bags in. There were delicious snacks and drinks in the room for us to enjoy and great dining and drink options offered through the day (for purchase). We spent hours in the guest-only garden exploring and hiking, spent hours sitting out overlooking the picturesque Rhine River that runs through Oberwesel. On our second day, we had arranged for a wine tour through the hotel with a local vintner and would rate it 5 stars! We did not get dinner at the hotel but the views from the dining area are unmatched. Overall this was a fun and very unique lodging experience that I’d recommend for anyone to stay in! It did help that we had a car and drove ourselves from the Frankfurt Airport - very convenient to so so! We made a day of our travel out and stopped by Burg Eltz too to fit more in!"
