"I had an enjoyable stay here. I loved that the location was a quiet, serene street but still just a short walk to a main strip/tube station (5-7 minute walk) in one direction and to the Portabella market area in the other direction (maybe a 15- 20 minute walk). Staff were friendly and helpful and the room was small but adequate. The balcony was inaccessible but I had a lovely view of the small park/garden area across the street. I’d stay again for a reasonably priced room in a quiet area."

"Never been catfished so badly in my life. This was truly the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. The room that I booked was not the room they put me in and was NOTHING like the photo. They had me in the BASEMENT of the hotel, on the worst quality bed I’ve ever seen, with a disgusting headboard. They then moved me the next day to the room I asked for (the manager made it clear he was pissed off) which was 35 degrees inside (hotter than outside) with a fan that didn’t work. "This was a perfectly situated hotel. It was a 5 min walk from the Bayswater Underground. The Main Street had various eateries. The hotel itself was clean, quiet and had a breakfast area for your choosing at £17. The room we had was for 3 people. The room had a full size bed and a sofa bed. By American standards, it was small, but we made it work. The room itself was spacious. The air conditioning was spot on and came in handy since we were there during a heat wave. Highly recommend."

"Had a great visit, the rooms are small but very comfortable. The location is fantastic with plenty of options to eat. The rooms had AC which was so helpful after a hot day exploring. Breakfast was included so options for continental breakfast or a hot English breakfast. Would stay here again."
