"An absolutely amazing stay! The rooms were really nice and comfortable. The place is right on the beach (literally, you step onto sand once you enter through the gate). And I can not say enough about how thoughtful, considerate, and kind ALL of the staff are - (for example, they stood by our chairs when we left our towels etc to go into the ocean without us asking or anything!). 10/10 Excellent

"An excellent place to stay. Clean and comfortable with three swimming pools and a game room that had ping pong and foosball. Unfortunately, there can be some noise from a nearby hotel with live music, but it doesn't seem to last very late. The timbo hotel itself was quiet. The buffet breakfast was excellent with many choices for vegetarian and vegan guests including soy milk."

"The Mizangani Seafront Hotel was an amazing, atmospheric bit of old Zanzibar looking out on the Stone Town harbor, and across from the Dar es Salaam ferry landing. They served a wonderful breakfast on the veranda. The reception and breakfast staff were very helpful and gave us a warm welcome. Our room was spacious and filled with beautiful Zanzibari details."
