"Absolutely wonderful stay at this gorgeous hotel.
Staff friendly and helpful.
Great bed and spacious room.
Bathtub, good size bathroom.
Food and drinks good too."
"The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious, as was the evening meal we had in the restaurant.
Our room was small but with a lovely bathroom. We found it quite noisy as the main road was right outside."
"Our fourth stay at the Metropole in recent years.A privilege to stay in such a unique historic building, with yes a little patina around the edges. If you dont embrace the nostalgia then budget chain's are available. The staff here are so good,as is the breakfast and the pool and spa facility.A great location for roadtrips around mid Wales, and a huge car park."
"Lovely one night stay at the Queens, we ate at the restaurant food was also very good it is in the main town so walkable to everywhere, perfect location and staff were very friendly and helpful"
"Just got home after a lovely stay at Rowton Castle. The staff were amazing could not do enough for you. Food was good and excellently presented. The grounds were amazingly kept. First visit but definitely not the last."
"This is the most stunning hotel I've ever stayed at.the building itself is breathtaking. The grounds well keep with the most beautiful views imaginable.
Rooms are comfortable clean and like the rest of the place beautiful.
Staff are all lovely, friendly and welcoming.
Food well priced, good portions and beautifully cooked. Although I will say the fish and chips should be called whale and chips. It was wider than my mom.
My fourth visit here and it definitely won't be my last.
Thank you...
"The room was lovely and clean and the bed was very comfy, the hosts are lovely and friendly and very talkative and they offer lots of knowledge about walks and activities in wales and have leaflets avaliable with information about activities. The hosts were also very quick to help with anything that was needed. Also the breakfast was amazing and there was lots of options to choose from"
