"As a local, I highly recommend this hotel because of the location. 5-minute walk from Nguyen Hue Street, 5-minute walk from Ben Thanh Market, and right across the street from a big mall in the heart of HCMC. The room I booked was a normal room, but the AC was not working, so Nhut upgraded me and my partner to an executive suite (or whichever room is huge and a lot nicer)."

Only issue was that the 'exterior' pictures of the building were NOT the hotel. "We had a great stay at the Sherwood! Our apartment was huge! Separate kitchen with a full size fridge, dining table for 6, large living room, spacious master and bath (with a tub), 2nd bedroom (with two twins) and full 2 bath. Washer and dryer!! The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The onsite restaurant was very good and even allowed you to bring your own wine! Would definitely recommend!"
