"The hotel location was great and the staff was friendly, but the room was small and the black decor made it feel even smaller. Breakfast was definitely lacking, as there was not much of a selection."

"Staff were wonderful, friendly and helpful. Main foyer was beautiful 😍 Breakfast fantastic. Plenty of options. Room was clean. Only complaint was that the rooms are definately not as maintained as they may appear in photos. Bathrooms need some maintenance. Shower over the bathtub is hazardous to climb out of! Towels were definately clean, but we're worn."

"Great value. Room we had was large and comfortable"

"Very friendly"

"This is a great hotel on the edge of the Old Quarter with a good restaurant and spa. But it’s the staff that deserve all the accolades - they are simply outstanding and go out of their way to help, even assisting us to rebook part of our onward travel when our plans changed due to illness. You will be well looked after."

"The service was impeccable with friendly staff especially Cenlina. Room was very clean with a good view of Hang Bong Street. Ha Long Bay tour was organised with easy and at a good price. Will definitely be coming back."

"Firstly the staff were amazing would do anything for you, the location is the best we’ve ever had in a destination, super close to all you can see in the old quarter. The only thing to be aware of is that the property is quite noisy, we had to ask for ear plugs and are not particularly light sleepers. The walls are paper thin so anytime someone walks past you which was quite a lot on our floor due to the level we were on you can hear everything. The church behind also rings a lot of bells at...

"It was the most comfortable place I have enjoyed to stay and being there made a first time trip to Hanoi that much better. It was outstanding."

"Goede uitvalbasis om de stad te ontdekken. Vriendelijk personeel, mooie grote kamer. Ontbijt, 1 groot nadeel, koffie en thee waren koud. Beperkt aanbod. Engelse taal ook beperkt, ook al zeggen ze ja, to h hebben ze je niet verstaan."

"1 room is clean everything new 2 but the only thing I dont understand that why the hotel do not have anyone help with the luggage and staff especially women resceptionist really rude and racist to Vietnamese pp their attitude with their own pp very bad . I pay the same you should have to treat me the same way you speak and talk to foreigner. 3 Food is basic nothin special . Stay here for 4 days 0 star for women emplyees at front dest"

"5 stars all around"

"The room was great and exactly as advertised, the staff were sooooo accommodating and genuinely kind. Best customer service I have ever encountered. Location is amazing and would recommend to anyone."

"So friendly"

"I highly recommend Oakwood Residence! The staff are friendly and welcoming, the rooms are modern, clean, and comfortable, and the hotel is in a great area. It’s also close enough to the heart of Hanoi to easily explore the city while still being in a quieter area. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay here again!"

"Clean room, helpful and friendly staff. We asked to switch room due to the noise above and it was taken care promptly. Walking distance to Lake Hoan Kiem and Old Town. French quarter location, convenient, we stayed at this place twice."

"Overall, hotel is close to everything I wanted to go. All the staff were very accommodating. I'll definitely come back."

"1泊目の部屋はとても良かった。しかし、2泊目3泊目の部屋はアップグレード出来ない為部屋を変えられた。しかも、浴槽の水が抜けなくて人を呼んだ。2日目も溜まったままとなってそのまま放置してチェックアウトした。これは仕方がないと思う。"
