"Current construction works for the light rail extension compromises what otherwise is a good location. The hotel itself seems a little tired, particularly in the hallways leading to the rooms and the room itself. The mattress was a bit soft for my liking."
"I was disappointed that there wasn’t a file in the room with operating instructions for the Microwave, and washer/dryer etc., I spent a long time cleaning the iron with toothpaste and a nylon kitchen scrubber….it had melted fabric on it…the dryer filter hadn’t been cleaned in awhile….housekeeping not thorough."
"Check-in very quick & our room ready early plus parking was so handy but there’s a fee which was worth it. Good size rooms, very clean bathroom, comfy beds, lovely view.
Staff so good nothing a problem. Great variety on buffet. So close to shopping centre. Only issue was the pool wasn’t clean to swim in."
"With the hotel attached to the Tradies Club and located in the restaurant are of Dickson you are truely spoilt for choice in eating and entertainment. Rooms are an excellent size and have all necessary plate wear and cutlery for the local takeaway or private food supply and there is a good breakfast menu if you so desire. The microwave and toaster (on request ) allow reheats.
The rooms were clean , tidy and quiet.
Undercover parking is supplied by the club and is extensive and roomy with direct...
"Disappointing Stay – Cold, Dark, and Terribly Unwelcoming Service
I had high hopes for Ovolo Canberra, but my stay was thoroughly disappointing. The entire property feels like style over substance.
I booked a Sanctum Room and was assigned a room on Level 2. Upon entering, I found the room exceptionally dark—it felt more like a gloomy cave than a comfortable guest room. On top of that, the room was freezing, and the AC heating barely made a difference throughout the night.
When I returned to...
"Excellent location! Very central, walking distance to many restaurants, coffee shops and shopping centre. Apartment is squeaky clean and has everything you could possibly need for comfortable stay, including fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, dryer, beautiful living room and dining area with huge TV in both living room and bedroom. If you're looking for place to stay in Canberra, look no further. Quest Canberra is a real gem"
"Amazing Park, had everything you need including a Restaurant, Pool, Playground, Basketball Court, Tennis Court, Volleyball Court and Barbecue Areas.
The cabins range in size & quality, from Basic to New Modern.
Recommend the newer cabins as the Basic are small and old."
"The property has a lovely ambience and offers a comfortable, peaceful, and tranquil stay. However, it needs better maintenance and care. With some improvements to the garden and overall landscaping, it could easily become a charming boutique hotel. I also noticed some possible water quality issues, as there were stains in the toilet, and having a microwave in the room would be a useful addition. Overall, it is a comfortable and relaxing place with great potential to be even better.
Thanks"
"I had a fantastic stay over the weekend. The room was clean and comfortable. Excellent amenities, including a good hair dryer and a wide selection of different teas and coffees available. Really enjoyed the buffet breakfast. Good range of hot foods: eggs, bacon, sausage, etc. Plus plenty of choices for fruit, cereal, pastries, bread and spreads.
Some things to note: there's no fan in the bathroom so everything fogs up. And second, if you use the $ 24-a-day car park, you have to pay for your...
