"If you book this hotel for the pool, then don’t. The entire time that we were there, the pool did not work. However, the staff was wonderful, the rooms were decent, and the breakfast was outstanding. We were on a lovely hilltop. Perugia is a great city. I would return to that hotel."

During the 13th and 14th centuries the hotel was a hospital and an orphanage . Wasn’t thrilled with the restaurant , but that of course is a matter of taste.
