"The hotel is a great destination for couples or adults. The swimming pool and spa areas are not suitable for children but wonderful for adults. Everything is very clean and well looked after. We stayed in one of the south-facing rooms (last minute booking) in the older part of the hotel, the rooms was comfortably furnished and a good size. "Really interesting Art Deco hotel in great condition. Lovely breakfast. Good bathroom and shower, comfy bed, nice and quiet. Friendly staff. Restaurant service was superb but food was a bit expensive and not to our taste - although that may be us rather than the food itself. There's a great little wine bar opposite that was wonderful for an afternoon of quaffing. I'd definitely return, given the chance."

"Fantastic getaway destination for a weekend stay (and more). Hotel location is great with hikes nearby and the hotel courtyard, pool and other facilities are amazing! We had two small kids and were worried that their play and shouts might not be met with the warmest feedback but the hotel staff was super welcoming. "We booked 3 rooms with air-conditioning during heatwave for multiple days. Upon arrival there was no airco. They offered us to book elsewhere at 9pm. No properties within driving distance w airco. Shower did not drain. Would not recommend. Expedia needs to be more accurate with hotel details so others don't have a similar experience."

"This is an old house made successfully into a hotel. However, it does not provide wireless access in All the rooms. (Also, in the summer, there are no fans.) The staff seems to be overworked, but they are coping well and provide a very good service."
