"On arrival the reception staff were not engaging or helpful. On departure the reception staff were friendly and helpful. The staff at the bar were lovely. There were some dusty areas in the bedroom especially the television. The bed was comfortable and the area was very quiet. One of the lifts was out of order so the wait to leave was always 5 minutes or more. Breakfast was lovely, with lots of choice and everything was fresh and plentiful. The staff at breakfast were friendly and attentive....
"Decent rooms, good restaurant, and location was within walking distance of tourist attractions on a good weather day. Overall it’s a good place to stay. Staff were friendly, and helpful."
"This was my final stay after Stonehaven and City Centre. It was a welcome change from the loud noises around my city centre flat.
Keep in mind you are very far from everything without a car. The property sits alone and Peterculter is the next town over offering a few grocery stores, pubs, restaurants, etc. I was a bit unwise to walk an hour there which puts you right up against the road.
The property is beautiful, historic, and sits on the River Dee with a kirkyard a stone’s throw away. The...
"The most uncomfortable night’s sleep
The room was dusty and had an awful damp(?) smell.
The sheets had quite a few stray hairs in them- I am inclined to think they either were not fresh or that housekeeping was just sloppy with the changing of them.
The carpet is filthy and dusty and just needs to be changed over- this is the same for the corridors, too. A pity to say this hotel has seen better days.
Too far out from the centre to be worth discomfort."
"Staff was super helpful and accommodating. Linda was especially helpful, including accommodating an early arrival and arranging for laundry services. The food was excellent, as was the service."
"This property is well situated a short walk from Aberdeen center the room was okay bathroom shower ceiling cracked and paint coming off on shower ceiling lack of wind does every old difficult to get air inside there is a bar downstairs do parking is limited"
"A clean and modern apartment with all you need for a short stay. You had to do a online checking and were given a code to open the door. There is no front desk. and there didn't need to be. all the information was provided and had no issue getting into the room.
If I had one criticism it was the use of blinds on the smaller windows, I'd have preferred curtains like on the big windows. A couple of the blinds were bent, solved it by keeping the bathroom door open which blocked the bedroom...
"Good size apartment with everything needed for our stay.
1-2 blocks or 10 minute walk to the main street which had pubs, restaurants and other shops."
