"Hotel was in a very convenient place a little under 10 minute walk from the Salerno train station. The Main Street with all of the cafes and shops is right down the street. and the waterfront is about 2 blocks away. Everything about the hotel was great but we did wish that the showers had a handle option as well, that would be our only request."

"Last minute plan and found great hotel. From street looks ok but it goes way back to beautiful grounds and buildings. Large beautiful room great helpful staffwentoutof way to meet all needs stayed here to be near palace of caserta unfortunately closed on Tuesday. Got a late checkout until 4 no charge. Late flight. Good restaurant nearby"

"The Hotel De La Ville Avellino is a good choice if staying in Avellino. A 15 minute walk from Hotel thru the main street and square is easy, with many restaurant choices. Rooms clean, beds firm/ comfortable, bathroom updated -- all workable and fine. AirCond is so-so, but can open windows in cool evenings. Front desk staff very helpful and responsive"

"The Kore Hotel is a beautiful modern hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean. There is ample parking. However it is located in an industrial area outside of Salerno. There are a few good restaurants but a car is necessary to go anywhere. "

"An amazing venue - would have been helpful if it was a bit more obvious which services are available, and how I could access them (specifically the spa and pool). But once found, they were brilliant!"

"The property is older and needs some updating and repairs, but the staff was lovely, the food was fine for the price. The bed was okay, but certainly could have used a new mattress and the bed covering was ancient. Nevertheless, the room was a good size, the bathroom was large with a good shower, and it was clean. I would stay here again."

"All facilities were closed at the hotel and areas around the hotel were full of broken bricks. The fountain was not working and completely in disarray. Breakfast was really poor. No tea/coffee facility and we had to ask for food to be brought out. This is definitely not a four star hotel. On top of that, when we came back in the evening, there was no one to be found at reception for around an hour!!!!! So anyone could have walked in and around the hotel as they have no security as such, just...
