"What a gem of a place. Perfect stay"

"Friendly and helpful staff and excellent food in restaurant. Nice Lochside location. Great location for visiting the nearby Dumfries House a short drive away."

"Great stay. Derek and Rena were lovely hosts. Breakfast was great. Overall a very nice stay indeed."

"Large carpark behind the hotel but filled up quickly at the weekend and 2 or 3 in front of the hotel probably for check in. Staff were great, knowledgeable and a smile on their faces. Which is a big thing with me. Check in went smooth and a first floor room there is a lift should you need it. The room was clean comfortable, with the usual included in the price shampoos, soap, Nespresso machine and a kettle for tea. TV which was a smart TV be it wasn't connect to the free fast ish wifi. "Splendid historic manse with large bedroom, private bathroom and lovely quiet location. A comfortable two night stay provided by a lovely host serving up a terrific breakfast and great advice for enjoying the countryside and historic houses close by. "

Rekommenderas."

"Southpark House is a well run guest house in a fabulous location. The owners are very welcoming and friendly. The guest house is well maintained and extremely clean. Breakfast is out of this world, freshly cooked and a fantastic selection to choose from. The bedroom was immaculate, the bed was so comfortable and the en-suite was pristine. An absolute joy to stay there. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to stay in Dumfries and the surrounding areas."
