"Hotel is central to everything in Surfers Paradise which made it very convenient but the hotel doesn't have its own parking and the facilities are out dated"

"We got the the view of the river and city, it was a really nice view. The room was very clean, the sheets on the bed were clean sheets. Overall, the room/hotel was very nice. We paid an extra $55 for the buffet breakfast and parking. The only thing is that we didn’t think that the seafood buffet was worth $85pp only because they only had prawns, mussels, crab and oysters for the seafood. But the food was nice. "

"We really enjoyed our stay. Our apartment had a wonderful view, and was spacious and clean. Though it could do with a few more cooking implements such as a frying for longer stays. All communications with Q1 staff were efficient and friendly. We really appreciated being given a visitor’s pass on the day we checked out so we could leave our car in the car park and continue to enjoy the facilities."

"A comfortable and clean apartment with nice beach views as promised. Well located about ten minutes walk from Cavill Avenue (if that’s your thing), right at a light rail station. There’s a convenience store downstairs (and a cafe … which I didn’t particularly rate my eggs bennie at). Patrolled beach is almost directly across the road. Bed was comfortable. "Positives: Overall good bang for your buck. I was up high in a 2 bd apartment and the views were gorgeous, location was perfect to just walk out and eat or shop. Room was neat and tidy. Free parking. Negatives: No cleaning service during your stay even if for 4 days. Toilet seat was broken, couch was stained, dusty in the wardrobe which got all over my clothes and a lot of the cutlery/dining ware/cups were dirty. But as they asked me to clean all dishes and take rubbish out myself before...
