The Pool area and areas for outside seating near the pool are perfect spots to spend time in the late afternoon as you head into the golden hour. The staff is all professional, friendly and helpful. The Spa, Workout facilities and everything else compares favorably to any Five star hotel we've stayed in, in Italy or otherwise. "We came to Lake Como for a wedding and I absolutely loved my stay at Hotel Asnigo! From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful—they truly went Above & Beyond to make my stay special. The hotel’s restaurant served amazing food each morning, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious, a perfect start to each day. The pool is not heated but refreshing on a hot day. We even saw fireworks on the lake at night) The view from the hotel is nothing short of spectacular—Lake Como at its finest. Even the elevator has a breathtaking view of lake como! I also loved that it was within walking distance to the ferry, restaurants, and shops. Yes, the walk back up the hill is a bit of a workout, but I actually enjoyed it as great exercise after exploring the area. Overall, this hotel has everything—warm and attentive staff, wonderful food, breathtaking views, and a perfect location. I prefer boutique hotels instead of large chains and I can’t wait to return to this charming and quaint hotel! "
