"The rooms were old and in need to be renovated. The mold was so bad we asked for a new room . Even though the new room had some mold and cracks in the walls and ceiling. The room decor was old and carpet frayed . The towels were smelly and the mini fridge wasn’t working at all. There is many reasons I wouldn’t ever come back or recommend this place to anyone. It is too expensive for what you are getting. The pictures on the website are not what you find. As for the promised beach shuttle, it is...

"The Belmar was a lovely condo with beautiful views. We were 4 women on a girls trip and thought the location was good to walk to some restaurants and an easy uber ride into Lagos. We each received massages from the spa and all of us said they were excellent! The only downside would be that you have to go upstairs to get to the bedrooms, however that did not bother us. We highly recommend the Belmar."

"I read through the reviews and was honestly quite scared of the metal door hook breaking in method but during my stay I had no such issue. The apartment self catering was beautiful, it had all the pots, pans and cutlery needed to cook. There was a washing machine and a microwave included. In the cupboard there was ironing equipment.Safe was included in the closet. Also very nice citrus shampoo, conditioner and soap. The housekeeping was very helpful and nice, glass water bottles was replaced...

"Clean room and great pool"

"We stayed in a one bedroom apartment with a beautiful view of the beach. The apartment was clean, had a lot of amenities, and was very comfortable. The location was fabulous! It was a short walk to the beach and a 20 minute walk to the old city. We loved it and would definitely go back."
