"Expensive and overpriced. I have been receiving aggressively by the women at the gate. After driving 6 hours, she needed to see my booking papers before let us in. Some friends asked for an early check in and paid for it, but the room wasn’t ready. We asked for a diner reservation 2 minutes after checking and got asked if we had a room??? The A/C wasn’t working even if it was 30C outside. We have to ass the desk to start it. The location was Awesome, you got the view over the beach and the city. At the restaurant the personnel was wonderful. It cost 38€ for 2 Aperol Spritz. Gastronomical diner was 85€ per person, pretty good."

"Great hotel, spacious room nicely styled. With bathroom etc being at angles it is quite tricky to navigate in the dark if need to during the night. Spa is a nice feature to have in a city centre location. Staff extremely helpful and friendly would stay again."

"Great hotel located within walking distance to the beach. Staff and room was amazing. It was my birthday and when I got back to the room there was an amazing dessert waiting for me with birthday greetings. Very pet friendly. Will stay there again."

"The hotel itself was gorgeous and our adjoining rooms for my party of four was wonderful. I rarely leave bad reviews, but I’ve stayed at varying levels of hotels, and for the lovely amenities offered at this hotel, the food and drink options were disappointing. When we checked into the hotel the only food option available was the higher end restaurant. We had hoped to have a light, affordable meal either at a mid-range price point or room service. Neither was available. I can’t speak about the breakfast, but the coffee was almost undrinkable. As for the main dinner restaurant the presentation was lovely, but the food was mediocre for the caliber. Of approximately ten options listed on the menu, only two were not vegetarian. We ordered several dishes, with the mixed vegetables being the best and the steak being the worst. The steak was chewy, unevenly salted, and lacked flavor. Overall, I would stay here again, but would be prepared to eat/drink in town. "

"Nice hotel and good value for the accommodation. Honestly no need to be in old town or directly adjacent to old town. San Sebastián is small and it’s within a quick and enjoyable 10-15 minute walk to all the things you wanna see and eat. Don’t over pay for the fancy hotels by the water as it’s not worth it. Stay here instead!"
