"We used the hotel as a convenient stop before taking the ferry to Newhaven. Parking is very limited but a large carpark directly opposite the hotel is reasonably priced. We ate dinner at the hotel and this was generally very good. Nice large sea view room will everything you need. Complimentary water, tea & coffee. Improvements could be a walk-in shower rather than over bath. We would stay here again without hesitation."

"Above average hotel and good for a stop over. The twin room was spacious and quiet, small bar but a couple of decent beers on tap with an outdoor space and a nice restaurant. Not much on the breakfast buffet but good quality. Would stay again"

"A nice room with welcome air conditioning and a comfortable bed, but overall the experience was disappointing given the expectations of the price point and Mercure brand: only paper cups provided in lieu of glasses; dreadful coffee in the room with only powdered milk that was well past its due date; and paying extra for a sea view is not worth the money as all one can see is a derelict outdoor swimming pool. Bike parking was fine."

"Jolie résidence avec une situation exceptionnelle face à la Baie. Nous avions un appartement 1 chambre face à la mer. Tout est conforme à la description. Quel plaisir de manger sur la terrasse avec une très belle vue. Le logement est parfait pour 2 personnes. Mini kit d’entretien fourni. Le lit est un petit lit double (certainement 1,40m) mais cela ne nous a pas dérangés. Salle de bain petite et fonctionnelle et propre. Pensez à prendre votre shampoing, gel douche…car il n’y en a pas de fourni....

"The facilities were excellent. The pool, bar and restaurant were very good. The spa staff could have been more helpful but the rest of the staff were excellent. Some areas could have benefited from more attention such as the balcony floor and bathroom floor. Espresso coffee machine in the room, broke but there were so many other places to get coffee, this was not an issue. Food was excellent."
