"It's a decent hotel in Freiburg. Positives are it was air conditioned (though not too cool), pet friendly, central location and has car park (note, I drive a Ford Ranger pick-up and it was very tight in the underground car park - don't even attempt anything bigger).
Main gripe was at check-in (which took nearly 30mins after a very long drive). Matey tried to charge me double the confirmed Expedia rate as he claimed that my 17 year old son should pay adult rate when Expedia shows <18 yr olds as...
"A very good hotel which is handy for the airport, a large supermarket and eating opportunities. Spacious room with good seating, AC, shower and bath, kettle, shutters. Very pleasing breakfast but busy with families. We found both the hotel free shuttle from the airport and the local bus to Huningue (then walk over to Weil am Rhein) very useful."
