Es fehlt eine Info appear mit Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Ausflugstipps, Badeplätze. Auch Extra Handtücher kann man mangels Rezeption vermutlich nicht bekommen. Der Automaten Check In hat Probleme mit Umlauten die telefonisch gelöst wurden. Klima-Anlage ist schlecht und laut. Kühlt nur nachts mit Austausch mit kühler Umgebungsluft. "This was a very basic "hotel". The first room I was put in was pretty bad and looked as though it had not been decorated since the 1980's. There are not blackout curtains on any of the windows so be prepared to have the sun come blasting in at 6 AM. The beds feels like something you would have slept on in sleep away camp when you were a child. I was so disappointed with my room that I begged to be moved to anything better the second and remaining nights. They moved me to a "comfort" room which...

"We were looking to visit the Appenzell/St. Gallen region, combined with a visit at the Säntispark for the kids. Couldn’t pick a better place - the water park entrance is included in the room price and you get your bracelets at the hotel - no line up! Great breakfast and great service. "

"Impressive hotel. Great location. Excellent car park. Superb breakfast. Took a room in the villa which was very comfortable. Only odd thing was, the external door doesn't appear secure. We were woken by a woman shouting at our door at 05.30. Hotel were totally unbothered by this & told us to call the police! Don't book the villa if you are woman travelling alone."

"We booked a deluxe lake view room. The view was amazing but the room was so small that it didn’t have 2 night stands. It was like a $50 a night Econolodge off a highway. There is no air conditioning and it was very warm. We tried to open the windows but bugs immediately flew in. Breakfast was good and the pool and spa area are top notch. Overall it was overpriced and definitely not 4 stars. "

"A beautiful hotel set on an estate, which has a family history of being run as far back as grandparents of current owner. There is a genuine wish on the part of the owner to ensure any problems you have, are resolved. He did that for us on this visit. The hotel has so much character and is very comfortable "
