"We absolutely loved The River Resort. Great location, easy parking, lovely ambience and an easy walk to the main street. We arrived later than expected and after the check in closure time but Reception staff had it all organised and bar staff knew exactly what to do. We ate in the main bar/restaurant and the food was excellent - in fact we ate there twice over 3 nights and that is something we never do as we always like to share our money around town. "We want to say a huge thank you to Grande Escape Resort for making us feel super welcome and enjoy our 2 night stay. We enjoyed chatting with the receptionist Linda, the manager Bethany, and the other staff members too. The dinner we had was delicious and highly recommended. The rooms were clean and consisted of everything we needed, and we enjoyed exploring the grounds and taking pics of the beautiful nature surrounding the rooms. Highly recommend!! "
