"This is an amazing spot for families. Walking distance to everything, amazing amenities and so close to the water at Shoal Bay which is stunning. It can be pricey so keep an eye out for deals. It's also close to pubs and restaurants so if you like a quite area with no noise this may not be the spot for you. For us it was perfect."

"Our room had a magnificent view. The breakfast was excellent. The staff were very helpful and the location is truly magnificent. The only thing I would wish for is two comfortable chairs in the room. The chairs that are in the room are just not comfortable."

"Property close to both bowling and golf clubs, and easy walk to town centre and waterfront. Plenty of parking and a lot of undercover parks. Good view from balcony. Downside was no hanging space for clothes, no exhaust fan in bathroom, no toilet brush. Overall, excellent value for money"

"Enjoyed our stay here and will stay again when we next come to Newcastle. Ideal location next to the Crown St light rail station as we came up from Sydney by train. Our meal there was great and the staff were very friendly. We stayed on a Monday and Tuesday night and got a good price for the room. The renovated room was fine for us and had everything we needed. No complaints at all."
