"Our cottage at The Black Sparrow was cosy and warm for our winter getaway. It was clean and comfortable and everything worked well. It was quiet and set in a beautiful location. We arrived when it was dark, so the narrow dirt roads were a little difficult to navigate and additional lighting might have helped. Overall, a fantastic place to stay for a few nights, very peaceful and private and just as close to Mt Buller for skiing as the more expensive Mansfield. Thanks!"

"at first we were worried as Wombat Hills was further from Mansfield than we thought, however Norm was incredibly welcoming and the accommodation was clean with all you could need, the facilities were simple and practical - the view was exceptional. We loved our stay."
