"It was ok —- a place to sleep. But a little dissapointing …. The write-up by Hotels.com , and the price of the rooms suggested/promissed something better—— for us , it was a basic hotel, with basic facilities—- pub-bar type “restaurant”, -crowded and noisy and cramped—dood was pub-grub really — nothing special —- room basic with low budget furnishings , bathroom the same— almost travelLodge or premier inn quality—- a place to speel - but not worth what they charge "

"Its a contactless hotel meaming you get an entry code around an hour prior to arrival. We didn't get this and despite using contact details for the hotel we got no response. When we contacted hotels.com they managed to get us sorted and someone contacted us and apologised. I admit we got a free suite upgrade, however when we went to leave our room the keypad lock wouldn't stop the door from just opening so in theory anyone could walk in. "Expectations were high with a score of 9.2 but I was disappointed. Room a bit pokey, very odd matress & bedding, terrible shower. Decor throughout a bit tired. Residents bar very limited and nothing on draught. Breakfast was ok. On the plus side, staff were all very nice, location is quiet with a nice park opposite and there's enough parking. I'd stay again if in Girvan but can't say I'd look forward to it."
