"Our private pool and good bathroom leading to large outdoor shower made it very inviting. Definitely worth paying the little bit extra for. Far enough from the main road to be nice and quiet, super beach and walking distance to the ferry pier. They are closing soon to upgrade but I only saw some minor plumbing issues that needed attention. "

"When we arrived to the island, we took a taxi to the GPS location according to Hotels.com map. The pin was innaccurate, and 6 of us were stranded on another part of the island, 45 minutes away. Only due to a nice local Thai man, did we get a new taxi and find the villa. The villa in the photo shows a beach - we had no beach. "Our room was very spacious and comfortable. It seemed a tad weird though the entrance felt like a funeral home, though that wouldn’t stop me from staying there again. It did have its own pool but we weren’t there long enough to use it. It was right on the beach and so was the restaurant which was lovely. However, dinner one night took 90 minutes (and there was only 3-4 tables eating) to get an appetizer and when it came it wasn’t the one we ordered. Service needs a little work. "
