"To get on the elevator you have to go up from the ground 2 flights of stairs, and if you are on the 7th floor you have to also walk up another flight. But the staff is really good about carrying your bags. The seventh floor is constructed differently,. And in fact we could see outside through a crack wall. The walls are windows and it is very hot in Hanoi. I would recommend not getting a room on the seventh floor.

"Our stay here was great for the two of us. The room was clean, spacious .. the location was fantastic! The staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was plentiful and had great choices.
We booked a room with city views and a balcony - this was really not what we expected and the only let down.
The place needs a bit of maintenance but has a lift and provides everything you need for a pleasant stay."
"I highly recommend Oakwood Residence! The staff are friendly and welcoming, the rooms are modern, clean, and comfortable, and the hotel is in a great area. "Great place to be. I was only disappointed when calling the room service while toilet didn't flush. After 5min the housekeeping arrived. He left after 3min stating "all ok" .

"If you have ever been to Hanoi, you would know how busy and noisy the city is. Staying at the Diamond Westlake Suites is the complete opposite. It is tranquil, and a very relaxing place to stay. The room was super large, with separate bedroom, and living area. "The staff is very helpful and nice, the hotel is located facing the valley which has good views. However the road leading to the hotel is usually busy and traffic is bad. This is caused by the bad road conditions and narrow road with a lot of stopping buses, vans by the road side."
