"Lovely old manor house but due to the late arrival and being dark could not enjoy what would have been a really nice garden and surrounding area. Good food in the restaurant, though £4.50 for a bottle of still water seemed excessive but everything else was good. Polite friendly staff, and would stay there again and hopefully enjoy the grounds and gardens next time."

"Lovely experience at Cowley manor, shame the steam room wasn’t working. Had a room change due to noisy neighbours and the hotel were really accommodating. Breakfast options were great, beautiful grounds and very comfy beds."

"We stopped here for a weekend and were generally very pleased with it. Clean, comfortable, great staff and service and good food. Our only conolaint was that the room we stayed in was very small for a family of three and only had a shower in the bathroom so i couldn't give our little one a bath, and it was a struggle having two people in the bathroom to wash her."

Staff has a tough job keeping the street traffic out of their private, residence only garden and it was a bit hard to enjoy a quiet afternoon with so many day-visiting tourists walking around us. Otherwise, the food and hospitality is top-notch and everyone’s very friendly. "

"Excellent property and a lovely breakfast. We were in main building and bedroom was lovely unfortunately it was over a company off site so very noisy until late. Overhead Shower would only give Luke warm water despite plenty of hot water in taps and hand held shower. Room was beautiful and staff so helpful and nice "
