"There are two Plume of Feathers in Cornwall. If you search for the one in Portscatho on Google this one is likely to show up and I made the mistake in booking it. When I contacted them once I had realised my error they said it was not up to them to refund but Expedia - who I contacted. They were helpful and sympathetic - but they said it was actually at the discretion of the host who they contacted on my behalf but they declined my request. I again contacted the PoF to ask them to reconsider...

"We are a family of 4 (kids 8 and 11) staying in a room set up as a family room - double bed and the kids sharing a sofa bed. The room was snug but really good. Each room is 3 old cells knocked into 1, with the bathroom taking up 1/3 or of the room. The bathroom was really good and enormous. The staff at the hotel were super friendly and helpful. "This is a really lovely boutique hotel in the heart of Fowey with a beautiful terrace overlooking the river and Town Quay. We spent hours on this terrace whiling away the heat enjoying a drink. The rooms are very nice and well appointed. We had a deluxe room which had a small terrace with river views. With only 14 rooms it feels very special and up market, but is reasonably priced. "The cobblestone parking was slightly challenging, and we weren’t expecting to be in a separate building from the inn, but the room was very comfortable and the large window had a great view which brightened up the space.
