"It is a lovely, stately old mansion just like you expect of Galveston. Built in the 1860’s and recently renovated over a three year period. It is located only about four blocks from the cruise terminal and is ideal if you are cruising. The owner is a great guy and has other property nearby that includes a parking lot. If you stay at the manor you can park your car in the lot and he will drive you to the terminal. Talk about service. There is a live in chef onsite and he prepares your breakfast...

"Really enjoyed staying at this location! The house was very clean as well as the property. Neighborhood is very peaceful and quiet so you'll definitely get to enjoy a cup of coffee on the back porch in the mornings. Overall I was very pleased with my stay."
