"A perfect stop to break-up our journey back to the UK. Parking is free and easy and the hotel is dog friendly. Staff entertained my poor French but speak fluent English. Restaurant is good and breakfast worth paying extra for - good choice, not just continental fare. We stayed during very hot August period, but rooms air conditioned and it works well. No complaints."

Nous avons été vraiment très satisfaits de notre séjour au Novotel Valenciennes. Dès le départ, tout a été parfaitement organisé. On nous avait réservé une très belle chambre au rez-de-chaussée, avec très peu de marche à faire, ce qui était particulièrement agréable pour nous.
Pour les bagages, c’était également parfait : un chariot était à notre disposition et nous pouvions l’emmener jusqu’à la voiture pour la décharger. Très pratique quand on voyage avec beaucoup de...
"Great location, near both Lille Europe and Lille Flanders train station, as well as the métro and bus lines. Very close to the Old Town, restaurants and stores. Friendly staff and they have a resident cat! Very walkable area. Breakfast was included and had cold and hot options. Quiet at night. Great walk in shower. Again a separate toilet, but very close to the sink. The room was a bit small for me as I like to leave my suitcase out and couldn’t really but it really depends on the room you get....

"Our first room had some broken plugs and ac but the front desk soon switched us to a new room which was a little bigger.
It's a great location hotel with good parking, a great restaurant and makes a great stop on the way south after getting off the ferry or Channel Tunnel.
The staff are excellent and the rooms very clean and slick."

"Séjour sans mauvaise surprise. Du bruit à l'extérieur, mais pas dans la chambre, heureusement. Chambre et équipements un peu vieillots par rapport à d'autres Novotel et parking rapidement plein en cette saison. Pas testé le petit déjeuner (20 euros par personne)."
