"Excelente hotel, ubicación inmejorable y desayunos espectaculares
"The location of the Excelsior is superb, overlooking the Bay of Naples. If you have the port side rooms you wake up to Vesuvius across the Bay and can watch its many moods throughout the day. On the roof top terrace you can watch the lights turn on in the city and see Vesuvius become a presence that is hard to ignore. "Not sure if “Smart Hotel” refers having colourful LED lights in the room but the Wi-Fi is anything but smart! Even with a different password provided by the staff the weak signal made working, streaming, or using the smart TV impossible. There’s also a list of rules, including no food or drinks in rooms. On the plus side, quiet rooms and comfortable beds."
"The hotel is pretty and the staff is really kind, but it could use a good renovation. Beautiful views and a really huge pool and pool area. It's pretty high up in Positano, be sure to understand you need to climb many stairs from the beach area."
"Wow!! I can’t say enough wonderful things about this hotel. The staff, the restaurant, the food, and the views!! So very spectacular!! They upgraded our room to #70. I’ve never been in a more amazing room with breathtaking views!! I did not feel well for a couple of days and the staff checked on me and brought me snacks and drinks to help we feel better. They were very caring a compassionate. Over all friendly and helpful. Spectacular in every way!"
