"It was a wonderful stay. We shall always choose this hotel in future. There's a swimming pool, gym, restaurant and a bar. Dinner was absolutely delicious and for breakfast there was a huge variety of choices. There's also a parking lot which was a bit expensive but still good to have your car safe next to hotel. Sheets were new and the bed was quite comfortable. Bathroom was clean. There was a big TV on the wall. AC worked perfectly. And the view the window was spectacular."

"Great location. Short uber to old town. Tram right outside. Building date from 1950s . Good water pressure in tub, unfortunately when shower is on not as much pressure. Had to climb out of tub it sits higher that the floor. Room did not have wash cloths or a top sheet in the bed. Street side i heard lots of traffic sounds "

"The fridge smelled and had to be removed. The room has not been cleaned during my stay. If I had not asked for new towels I would have not got any. The personnel at reception could barely communicate in English and were not able to answer any questions. The buffet was good. There was food for every taste. "

"I searched for ages for a decent hotel at a fair price with good reviews. As so many others had questionable reviews, i thought the Golden Star might be too good to be true, but in fact it was perfect, a standard room with a great view over the square and the city beyond, large bright period windows, and lovely touches like real keys (!) as well as a good sized fridge, a safe, and all mod cons. And surrounded by the beautiful buildings and parks of the castle’s historical centre. The tram stop...

"The hotel is in the heart of the Parague tourist area, 10-15 minutes walk/climb to the famed castle. Exterior and common areas are very charming whereas the interior is super spacious, very well furnished. Being a boutique hotel, its staff (mainly Martyna and Maria) is very helpful and welcoming. Excellent pre-arrival communication. Room itself has coffee machine with pods which is great. Would definitely stay here again if in the area. "

"The first thing to note is the reception is unmanned after 8pm, that means if your flight lands at night make sure you look at your emails for instructions to access the hotel and get the access card for your room. I didn’t but a helpful man at the end of a call talked me through the process and I got into my room. My bedroom was stunning and larger than my flat at home. The hotel is really well situated for seeing the sights etc. We had a great time staying here. Breakfast was delicious."

"The only entrance to this hotel is via cable car, and can get so busy that waiting time is long. The rooms are outdated but spacious. Nice bathroom. The pool area is always full of kids in the evening its impossible to swim! Or to take a dip in jacuzzi! There should be limited time for kids use! The system of QR codes in the room is so terrible, we didnt get any new towells, or there was no explanation what coffee you are drinking or how much cost the mini bar.
