"The room didn't have Wi-Fi coverage, and the room's landline had networking issues, meaning I had to call reservations on my personal cell phone just to get the front desk number. It was also overpriced, in my opinion. We booked the cheapest room at ~$230 per night, which turned out to be a VERY small attic room with no AC. It just had a fan and a window that barely opened, so we didn't get any view from our room even though the front of the hotel has an amazing view.

"The hotel has an ideal location on lake Bohinj. It's a bit unclear where reception is when you arrive at the parking lot and first impression from the staff was not great. They were not very friendly for some reason. We upgraded from a basement room with a view of a parking lot 1st night to a great corner suite on top floor with an amazing view of the lake and mountain and a large bath 2nd night. Breakfast was good and we had light dinner and dessert at the hotel as well, which was good....
"I highly recommend Hotel Mangart if you are visiting Bovec. The rooms were clean and very comfotable. There was a great view from the balcony. The hotel is very convenient as it is only a ten minute walk to the center of the town.
My one criticism of the hotel was that the staff was not very helpful in recommending restaurants and activities."

"A beautiful country setting and a surprisingly modern hotel contained in a traditional facade. This is a small operation so don't be surprised to find the man who checked you in and carried your bag also taking your dinner order. That isn't a criticism, just a reality in a boutique hotel with 20 something rooms.
Dinner menu varies by the day and is accompanied by a decent wine list. Breakfast is included and can be the comprehensive buffet or a la carte with several custom made offerings.

"A gem of a guest house style hotel tucked away up an atmospheric mountain road at the foot of a number of trails, surrounded by forest and with a stream across the front of the property. Staff were friendly and extremely helpful and accommodating. The restaurant was excellent with a wide variety of delicious options including authentic curry options alongside the more traditional menu. We had a room for 4 which was large enough for two adults and two teenagers. No a/c but with the cooler...
"L’établissement est daté. La chambre et vieille. En particulier, la salle de bain était mal entretenue (dégâts des eaux au plafond, calcaire sur la tuyauterie).
Pas d’avis sur la partie spa que je n’ai pas utilisé.
Le restaurant pour le soir doit être réservé avant 11h. Il serait bien d’en informer les clients en amont de l’arrivée car le Check-in ne se fait qu’à partir de 15h donc ce n’est pas cohérent.
