"The hotel is rather dated. Lots of scrapes and chips on furniture, skirtings and especially the bathroom. The service however was very good. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We had one evening meal in their restaurant which was lovely!! Liked the “robot-server” !! "

"The property is older and needs some updating and repairs, but the staff was lovely, the food was fine for the price. The bed was okay, but certainly could have used a new mattress and the bed covering was ancient. Nevertheless, the room was a good size, the bathroom was large with a good shower, and it was clean. "Picturesque location spoilt by unfinished major construction next door. Pool was very dirty, full of flies and wasps swarming around it. A simple clean up and lick of paint in places at minimal cost would make a huge difference to what felt like a very tired and neglected hotel. We chose not to stay over night and found an alternative hotel due to our disappointment with the pool and outside areas."

"The hotel was great perfect, the location was great. It's close to the Historic District and is affiliated with a really good pizza restaurant across the street. Antonio was a gracious host and offered very interesting information about the area. Our room was nice and clean, and the bathroom was very large.
