"I spent A LOT of time going back and forth between the many different properties located around the volcano. I wanted a true rainforest experience and that is exactly what we got- with the addition of luxury. I worried that I would be “missing out” on having a volcano view, however it was fogged over for all 4 days/3 nights we were there and our experience at the resort was nothing short of extraordinary. The location, the room, the staff, the hot springs!! If I had to choose where we would stay, I would pick chachagua resort and hot springs over and over again! There is no other way I would want to experience La Fortuna. We also saw so many monkeys and various animals on the property itself. I would highly recommend to anyone coming to the La Fortuna area that would like a beautiful rainforest experience, while also being close to the volcano!"
