"The Beach Samui is everything you need and more for an island escape far from the touristy areas. Mind you the beach isn’t really swimmable but you can still walk along the shore, as well as take advantage of the hotels pool and lounging area. The dispensary and the herbalists were amazing, the quality and variety of products was very cool. The food they serve in the hotel that you can order, I loved them all. They also have restaurants around you can try. I will definitely come back again."

"This property was very unique, and had a very cool Eco vibe to it. It was located on the beach and the rooms were quite spacious and very comfortable. The only downside to this property is that there's nothing else really around it. You would have to take a taxi to get into town to access other restaurants. This didn't really matter too much though, as you can eat at one or two restaurants at the hotel."

"This is a wonderful boutique hotel set on a gorgeous sandy beach. The gardens and pool are beautiful. It’s a very quiet relaxing place with very friendly, helpful staff. There are two kayaks and a paddleboard available free of charge. There is a hotel spa that offers massages on the beach and also a massage place on the beach next to the hotel. "Our private pool and good bathroom leading to large outdoor shower made it very inviting. Definitely worth paying the little bit extra for. Far enough from the main road to be nice and quiet, super beach and walking distance to the ferry pier. "A surprising small resort with huge rooms. I needed only a stopover before heading out of the ferry the next day. This was much more than I needed as a solo traveler but for the price you can’t beat it. Only a 10 or 15 minute drive from the Nathan Pier. "

"When we arrived to the island, we took a taxi to the GPS location according to Hotels.com map. The pin was innaccurate, and 6 of us were stranded on another part of the island, 45 minutes away. Samui Buri Beach Resort

10/10 Excellent

"Great location. This resort feels like paradise. The gardens and grounds are very beautiful. The rooms are a little older but massive and beautiful. We had a deluxe room with pool access. Huge room with massive doors and a very high ceiling (my guess is about 3.5 to 3.7m high). Felt like our own private palace. So relaxing. Having to leave after our super relaxing 15 night stay was the only disappointment! We would return in a heartbeat if we could."

"This is a unique experience. It’s truly a beautiful place. Perhaps 8-10 other guests while we were there. We only spent time in the room to sleep. When we weren’t out on excursions we were sitting at the beautiful infinity pool with the most incredible view. Staff are super genuine and kind though a little young and inexperienced. Check in and check out needs some improvement. Beware of the very steep driveway. I would not try to do that at night without seeing it first in daylight and I drive mountains in ice and snow every winter. Aside from these minor issues it was an amazing experience. Five star luxury without the pretentious BS of a crowded, more expensive resort."
