"What we really enjoyed about this hotel is the fabulous location and view across the marina to the beautiful old town of Korcula otherwise the hotel struck me as a little tired and looks like it needs a refurb. Reception staff were pleasant and helpful, cleaning staff seemed rather miserable, all in all the location was fabulous with a pleasant walk into town, the things mentioned above are what is letting it down. With the location and a refurb it could be fabulous. Having said this you get...
"The property was beautiful with beach and several pools. There was a mistake with our room and it was a huge hassle to get it changed. Our first room was mildew smelling and we had to change rooms. We had to have expedia reach out to the hotel but they did not help. My friend after arguing was able to get us new rooms. They were nice and did not smell."
"Overall a great place. This is an older building that has been well maintained. But as a 1970s building it is showing its age and era of architecture.
On the flip side, it was much less expensive than most hotels we have stayed at on this trip and as a result there seem to be more locals, which was refreshing.
The waterfront beach area is fantastic.
Our bathroom light only worked intermittently but no big deal.
A nice relaxing small town location away from the hustle and bustle...
"Lovely room with amazing sea views. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful.
Far too many steps for us. From our room there were steps to the bar, Reception, restaurants, pool and beach. We knew there were steps but not quite so many!
The beach was beautiful and sun loungers and umbrellas available at a small additional cost. Take beach shoes as a pebble beach.
Facilities in room were good however we didn't like the glass door on bathroom which didn't open and close very well....
Absolute Empfehlung!"
"Wonderful location. Clean, very good breakfast. No parking anywhere near unless you are a resident according to front desk. Had room 7 that was 7 flights of stairs and more rooms higher. The staff helped with luggage but it’s a hike along with the parking garage way up a hill where you park if you have a car. There were earplugs provided for the noise on the nightstands. I’m 6’2” and the bed was small in both length and width. Shower is the smallest I have encountered anywhere in all my travels....
"Wouldn't give this place 4 stars. I have been to 3 stars rated hotels with much higher quality. I wasn't planning to stay in the hotel but rather travel around the island all day long and then just come back for overnight. This is why I booked the cheapest option which is Classic Double Room. Even though Hotel was built just years ago the condition of the room was far from optimum. Besides the room was extremely small in terms of storage area. We didn't have place where to put our luggage cases,...
