"A lovely boutique hotel in Halmstad. We were there to visit friends so just stayed one night. Checked in was easy and made me felt welcomed and very quick, staff were helpful and nice. Lovely and spacious room, really enjoyed our stay, wish more hotels are like this. "

"On a motorcycle tour of Scandinavia we stayed in around 15 different hotels - this was a real favourite. It was slightly out of season, so fairly quiet even though it looks like it could handle a lot of guests comfortably (I imagine it's sometimes used for weddings). Our room was superb - very recently refurbished (still had that slight "new carpet" smell) and was finished to a very high standard. Very spacious, with a large bathroom and even a little entrance lobby. Each room has it's own door out on to a square courtyard which makes for a really nice environment - no long gloomy corridors here! The dinner is buffet style, but it's good quality, as was the breakfast. If you have time, there's a river down some steps at the back of the main building (beyond the sauna). There are several little streams and bridges so it's a lovely place to explore. Staff were all really friendly and efficient, and we had a lovely time."
